Paul has been in
the Electronics Industry for more than 35 years. He has experience in electronics distribution and as a manufactures representative.
He worked for Motorola from 1976 to 1998 holding several senior management positions. He started his career with Motorola
as a Field Applications Engineer, District Sales Manager, and Area Systems Sales and Engineering Manager. During 1985-1989
he was the Director of Training and Technical Operations for Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector located in Phoenix, Arizona.
During this time he was responsible for Customer Technical Training on high technology products like Motorola's MC68000 family
microprocessors, ASIC, RISC, Digital Signal Processors. He was also responsible for Motorola's University Support Program,
Consultant Support Program, and Technical Communications with the press, technical literature, data sheets, application notes,
and data books. He was responsible for all internal training which included: sales/marketing, field application engineering,
administrative, and distribution training.
Other responsibilities
From 1990 to 1997 was responsible for Marketing and Support Operations worldwide for Motorola University-Consulting
and Training Services, Motorola Quality Briefings, and license agreements on training courses. He has been involved with the
establishment of the Supplier Training Consortium (1990) to support supplier training and was Advisory Board Member for five
years. He was also a member of the Motorola Corporate Supply Management Council for several years. Paul is the recipient of
three Motorola CEO Quality Awards, the highest recognition within Motorola. He received his first in July 1993 for contributions
as part of Motorola University in doubling employee production, 170 fold quality improvements, and $3.1 billion in savings
between 1987 and 1992. The second award was received in March 1994 for his support on the Motorola Supply Management Council
in improving quality of the corporations' suppliers worldwide. He received his third award in 1996 for Quality of Service
with the International Networks Division.
Current Responsibilities
In 2003 Paul Brault joined Gerald Bourque at ABCOR Systems, Inc. Acadian Bourque-Brault Corporation. Prior to this business
venture, Paul was the Central Regional Manager for Carlo Gavazzi-Mupac for several years.
Paul’s current
responsibilities are sales coverage for customers in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio markets. He also is responsible for daily
operations including marketing and strategic business planning. He operates from his home office located in Round Rock, Texas.
